Netflix (NFLX) Tops Q2 EPS by 45c, Subs Beat

Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) reported Q2 EPS of $3.29, $0.45 better than the analyst estimate of $2.84. Revenue for the quarter came in at $8.19 billion versus the consensus estimate of $8.27 billion.

The company added 5.89 million subs - buyside expectations were around 4 million net subscriber additions.

The company sees Q3 revenue and EPS of $8.52 billion and $3.52, versus the consensus of $8.68 billion and $3.24.
