Medicines Co (MDCO) Posts Stronger Q1 adj.-EPS of 33c

Medicines Co (NASDAQ: MDCO) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.08), $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter came in at $177.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $175.6 million.

Adjusted net income(1) for the first quarter of 2014 increased 25% to $22.1 million, or $0.33 per share(1), compared to adjusted net income(1) of $17.7 million, or $0.31 per share(1) for the first quarter 2013.
