McDonald's (MCD) Tops Q3 EPS by 9c

McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) reported Q3 EPS of $2.68, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $2.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.87 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.72 billion.

• Global comparable sales increased nearly 10%, with growth across all segments
• U.S. comparable sales increased more than 6% for the quarter, marking the ninth consecutive quarter of comparable sales growth for the segment
