Marriott (MAR) Tops Q4 EPS by 1c; Guides Q1 EPS Below Views

Marriott (NASDAQ: MAR) reported Q4 EPS of $0.77, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.76. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.71 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.72 billion.

On a constant dollar basis, worldwide comparable systemwide RevPAR rose 3.8 percent in the fourth quarter.

GUIDANCE:

Marriott sees Q1 2016 EPS of $0.81-$0.85, versus the consensus of $0.89.
