Macy's (M) Tops Q1 EPS by 80c, Raises FY Guidance

Macy's (NYSE: M) reported Q1 EPS of $0.39, $0.80 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.41). Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.71 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.36 billion.

• Comparable sales up 62.5% vs. 2020 on an owned basis; up 63.9% vs. 2020 on an owned plus licensed basis

GUIDANCE:

Macy's sees FY2021 EPS of $1.71-$2.12, versus the consensus of $0.79. Macy's sees FY2021 revenue of $21.73-22.23 billion, versus the consensus of $20.73 billion.
