Macy's (M) Tops Q1 EPS by 10c, Missed on Revenue; Slashes Guidance

Macy's (NYSE: M) reported Q1 EPS of $0.56, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $0.46. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.03 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Macy's sees FY2024 EPS of $2.70-$3.20, versus the consensus of $3.69. Macy's sees FY2024 revenue of $22.8-23.2 billion, versus the consensus of $24 billion.

The company previously guided FY24 revenue of $23.7B to $24.2B, and EPS of $3.67-$4.11.
