Lithia Motors (LAD) Misses Q4 EPS by 1c

Lithia Motors (NYSE: LAD) reported Q4 EPS of $1.86, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.87. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.22 billion.

Fourth Quarter-over-Quarter Operating Highlights:

• Total same store sales increased 5%
• New vehicle same store sales increased 4%
• Used vehicle retail same store sales increased 11%
• Service, body and parts same store sales increased 7%
• Same store F&I per unit increased $108 to $1,295
• Adjusted SG&A expense as a percentage of gross profit was 70.1%
