Ku6 Media Co. (KUTV) Reports Q3 Loss of $0.02/ADS

Ku6 Media Co. (NASDAQ: KUTV) reported Q3 EPS of ($0.02), versus ($0.07) reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.62 million, versus $3.4 million reported last year.

Non-GAAP net loss, which reflects the exclusion of expenses (benefits) associated with share-based compensation, was US$0.76 million (RMB4.68 million) in the third quarter of 2014, as compared to US$5.30 million in the second quarter of 2014 and US$3.14 million in the third quarter of 2013. The decrease in net loss as compared to the second quarter of 2014 was primarily attributable to the increase in revenues, the decrease in cost of revenues, the decrease in operating expenses, and a US$1.45 million (RMB8.91 million) gain from the disposal of the Company's equity interest in an affiliate to a third party company.
