Freescale Semiconductor (FSL) Tops Q2 EPS by 2c

Freescale Semiconductor (NYSE: FSL) reported Q2 EPS of $0.38, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.19 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.17 billion.

Freescale Semiconductor sees Q3 2014 revenue of $1.19-1.23 billion, versus the consensus of $1.2 billion.

“Revenues, gross margins and earnings per share all showed solid improvement, both sequentially and year over year,” said Gregg Lowe, president and CEO. “All five product groups contributed to the growth, which is driving consistent gains in market share.”
