Fred's (FRED) Tops Q4 EPS by 1c; Issues Light EPS Outlook

Fred's (NASDAQ: FRED) reported Q4 EPS of $0.02, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter came in at $504.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $507.46 million.

Comparable store sales for the quarter were flat compared with an increase of 0.1% in the fourth quarter last year.

Fred's sees FY2015 EPS of $0.50-$0.58, versus the consensus of $0.61.

Fred's sees Q1 2015 EPS of $0.00-$0.03, versus the consensus of $0.26.
