FirstEnergy (FE) Tops Q2 EPS by 5c, Offers Guidance

FirstEnergy (NYSE: FE) reported Q2 EPS of $0.53, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.48. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.5 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.32 billion.

FirstEnergy sees Q3 2015 EPS of $0.82-$0.92, versus the consensus of $0.90. FirstEnergy also reaffirmed its full-year 2015 operating (non-GAAP) earnings guidance of $2.40 to $2.70 per basic share.
