Endo International (ENDP) Tops Q1 EPS by 41c

Endo International (NASDAQ: ENDP) reported Q1 EPS of $0.95, $0.41 better than the analyst estimate of $0.54. Revenue for the quarter came in at $820.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $712.85 million.

  • 2020 Full-year Guidance Withdrawn: Due to the uncertainty surrounding the duration and severity of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the Company's business and operations, the Company is not able to reliably estimate its results for the remainder of 2020. As a result, Endo is withdrawing its previously provided 2020 financial guidance. In addition, as a result of this uncertainty, Endo's consolidated and business segment financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2020 and for any other period(s) during the COVID-19 pandemic and any recovery period(s) may not be directly comparable to any historical period(s) and may not be indicative of future results. Endo is providing the following limited second-quarter 2020 outlook considerations, at current exchange rates, for revenue, adjusted gross margin and adjusted operating margin. The company estimates:
    • Total revenues to decline in the low 20's percentage range compared to the first-quarter of 2020;
    • Adjusted gross margin to be approximately 60 percent of revenues; and
    • Adjusted operating expenses to be approximately 25 percent of revenues.
