Cathay General Bancorp (CATY) Tops Q1 EPS by 2c

Cathay General Bancorp (NASDAQ: CATY) reported Q1 EPS of $0.45, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.43.

Net income for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, was $36.0 million, an increase of $4.7 million, or 15.1%, compared to net income of $31.3 million for the same quarter a year ago.
