Carter's (CRI) Tops Q1 EPS by 43c; Q2 guidance misses

Carter's (NYSE: CRI) reported Q1 EPS of $0.98, $0.43 better than the analyst estimate of $0.55. Revenue for the quarter came in at $696 million versus the consensus estimate of $652.18 million.

GUIDANCE:

Carter's sees Q2 2023 EPS of $0.40-$0.50, versus the consensus of $0.75. Carter's sees Q2 2023 revenue of $590-605 billion, versus the consensus of $625.8 billion.

Carter's sees FY2023 EPS of $6.15, versus the consensus of $5.90. Carter's sees FY2023 revenue of $3 billion, versus the consensus of $3.01 billion.
