Calpine (CPN) Posts Q1 Loss of 4c/Share

Calpine (NYSE: CPN) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.04), $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.97 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.31 billion.

Net Income, As Adjusted, for the first quarter of 2014 was $55 million compared to a Net Loss, As Adjusted, of $70 million in the prior year period.
