CVS Health (CVS) Tops Q2 EPS by 8c

CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) reported Q2 EPS of $1.69, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $1.61. Revenue for the quarter came in at $46.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $46.34 billion.

Same store sales increased 5.9% and pharmacy same store sales increased 8.3% in the three months ended June 30, 2018.

GUIDANCE:

CVS Health sees FY2018 EPS of $6.98-$7.08, versus the consensus of $7.00.
