Boston Scientific (BSX) Tops Q1 EPS by 4c; Boosts FY16 Outlook

Boston Scientific (NYSE: BSX) reported Q1 EPS of $0.28, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.96 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.91 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Boston Scientific sees Q2 2016 EPS of $0.25-$0.27, versus the consensus of $0.26. Boston Scientific sees Q2 2016 revenue of $2.01-2.06 billion, versus the consensus of $2.01 billion.

Boston Scientific sees FY2016 EPS of $1.06-$1.10, versus prior guidance of $1.03-$1.07 and the consensus of $1.05. Boston Scientific sees FY2016 revenue of $8.075-8.225 billion, versus prior guidance of $7.9-8.1 billion and the consensus of $8.02 billion.
