BioTime (BTX) Posts Q3 EPS of 30c

BioTime (NYSE: BTX) reported Q3 EPS of $0.30, which may not compare with the analyst estimate of ($0.14). Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $1.23 million.

Profitability was largely due to a fain on equity method investment in Asterias at fair value.
