BioLife Solutions (BLFS) Misses Q4 EPS by 19c

BioLife Solutions (NASDAQ: BLFS) reported Q4 EPS of ($0.26), $0.19 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.25 million versus the consensus estimate of $2.23 million.

2017 Guidance

Management reaffirms the full-year 2017 guidance provided in January as follows:

• Biopreservation media revenue is expected to grow between 20-25% over 2016, with revenue in excess of $10 million.
• Gross Margin is expected in a range of 55% to 60%.
• Annual operating expenses are expected to range from $8 to $9 million.
• Positive quarterly EBITDAS by the end of 2017.
