Big Lots, Inc. (NYSE: BIG) reported Q1 EPS of $0.50, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.28 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.26 billion.
Comparable store sales for stores open at least fifteen months increased 0.9% for the quarter, compared to our guidance of slightly negative to slightly positive.
Big Lots sees Q2 2014 EPS of $0.24 - $0.30, versus the consensus of $0.28.
Big Lots sees FY2014 EPS of $2.35 - $2.50, versus the consensus of $2.38.
