American Water Works (AWK) Tops Q3 EPS by 1c, Updates Guidance

American Water Works (NYSE: AWK) reported Q3 EPS of $0.92, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.91. Revenue for the quarter came in at $846.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $886.85 million.

American Water Works sees FY2014 EPS of $2.38-$2.44, versus prior guidance of $2.35-$2.45 and the consensus of $2.42.
