American Express (AXP) Tops Q2 EPS by 26c, Offers Guidance

American Express (NYSE: AXP) reported Q2 EPS of $3.49, $0.26 better than the analyst estimate of $3.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $16.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $16.59 billion.

GUIDANCE:

American Express sees FY2024 EPS of $13.30-$13.80, versus the consensus of $12.97.

• We continue to expect revenue growth in line with the guidance range of 9 percent to 11 percent that we set at the beginning of the year.
