Amedisys (AMED) Tops Q3 EPS by 1c

Amedisys (NASDAQ: AMED) reported Q3 EPS of $0.34, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $326.44 million versus the consensus estimate of $312.22 million.

Paul B. Kusserow, President and Chief Executive Officer stated, “We are encouraged by the company’s continued strong performance in the third quarter. Both segments achieved significant revenue growth and we have continued to make investments that will position us well to capitalize on future opportunities supporting our long-term strategic vision.
