Allied World Assurance (AWH) Misses Q4 EPS by 15c

Allied World Assurance (NYSE: AWH) reported Q4 EPS of $0.48, $0.15 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.63, may not compare. Co will also cancel March 2017 dividend in conjunction with announce Fairfax transaction. Co also says it does not plan to buyback any stock pending Fairfax transaction completion. Says Net Catastrophic loses were $49.9 million due to Hurricane Matthew and New Zealand Earthquake.
