Alere (ALR) Tops Q1 EPS by 8c

Alere (NYSE: ALR) reported Q1 EPS of $0.57, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $0.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $610.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $612.93 million.

Alere sees FY2015 EPS of $2.40-$2.50, versus the consensus of $2.43. Alere sees FY2015 revenue of $2.5-2.6 billion, versus the consensus of $2.58 billion.
