ARRIS Group, Inc. (ARRS) Tops Q2 EPS by 2c; Guides In-Line

ARRIS Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARRS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.70, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.68. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.43 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.4 billion.

ARRIS Group, Inc. sees Q3 2014 EPS of $0.69-$0.74, versus the consensus of $0.69. ARRIS Group, Inc. sees Q3 2014 revenue of $1.37-1.41 billion, versus the consensus of $1.4 billion.

"I am very pleased with our second quarter results, in particular, the acceptance of our new products by our customers," said Bob Stanzione, ARRIS Chairman and CEO. "Looking forward we see continuing opportunity in the business as service providers and programmers invest aggressively to expand their broadband platforms and provide richer video experiences to their customers."
