Investing.com -- Texas Capital Bancshares said Tuesday that two of its exchange traded funds will make the Texas Stock Exchange their primary trading venue starting September 16, pending regulatory approvals.

The funds currently trade on NYSE Arca, which is part of the New York Stock Exchange group. The move represents the first primary listings for TXSE.

The ticker symbols and investment approaches of the funds will remain unchanged, Texas Capital Bancshares said.

A primary listing designates TXSE as the principal venue for the ETFs, giving the exchange a greater role in their trading activity. The exchange has already attracted secondary listings from several companies.

TXSE is backed by investors including BlackRock, Citadel Securities and Charles Schwab.

The exchange began full trading operations in July and has said it expects to begin accepting initial public offerings next year.
