Silver Producers Ramp; Tahoe (TAHO) Gets Blog-Related Boost (SLV) (SLW)
Shares of Tahoe Resources (NYSE: TAHO) ran higher on Friday, gain 14% and out pacing other silver producers like Silver Wheaton Corp. (NYSE: SLW). The move came in response to stabilization in precious metals. Tahoe Resources received an extra boost after it was feature in a Seeking Alpha blog post.
Seeking Alpha said, "Tahoe Resources will be a highly profitable, low cost silver producer beginning in 2014. Investors who are bullish on the price of silver, but who also fear that the price may not rise short term, might consider taking a position in Tahoe Resources."
iShares Silver Trust ETF (NYSE: SLV) gained 5% on Friday, but is lower on the week.
