Retail Comps Fell 1.0% Last Week on Across-the-Board Weakness
Retailers are on watch Tuesday following new sales data out this morning.
The ICSC-Goldman same-store sales index fell 1.0 percent for the week ending September 21st. Year-over-year sales gained 1.6 percent, from a prior reading of 3.2 percent.

A comparison with rates during August points to weakness for the ex-auto ex-gas reading in the government's retail sales report for September,according to the report.
