Pacer Advisors, Inc. announced that the Board of Trustees of Pacer Funds Trust has decided to close and liquidate the Pacer CFRA-Stovall Equal Weight Seasonal Rotation ETF (NYSE: SZNE).

The fund will begin liquidating its portfolio assets on or about May 1, 2026, which will cause it to increase cash holdings and deviate from its stated investment objective and strategies. The fund will no longer be reconstituted and rebalanced to be equally weighted in the S&P 500 EWI Consumer Staples and Healthcare sectors.

Trading in shares of the fund will be halted prior to market open on May 15, 2026, the designated liquidation date. The fund will stop accepting orders for new creation units after the close of business on the day prior to the liquidation date. Before liquidation, shareholders may only be able to sell their shares to certain broker-dealers, with no assurance that a market for the fund's shares will exist during that period.

On the liquidation date, the fund will liquidate its assets and distribute cash pro rata to all remaining shareholders. These distributions constitute taxable events and will include accrued capital gains and dividends. The fund's net asset value will reflect any costs associated with closing the fund. Proceeds from the liquidation will be sent to shareholders promptly after the liquidation date.

Pacer ETFs manages 60 ETFs with over $39 billion in assets under management as of April 29, 2026, according to the company statement.
