Nasdaq Nears All-Time Closing High (QQQ)
The Nasdaq Composite is up 0.8 percent to 5,031.04 or so in afternoon trading.
Notably, the index is just a few points away from its all-time closing high of 5,048.62, which was reached on March 10, 2000.
The Nasdaq will have a five-session streak going following the end of trading Friday.
It actually hasn't been that long since such a win streak was seen; the Nasdaq ended positive on February 10 - 24, 2015, just one month ago. That was a ten-session run.
