NYSE Temporarily Suspends Trading in All Symbols
NYSE Temporarily suspended trading in all symbols. The NYSE said: Additional information will follow as soon as possible.
UPDATE - The NYSE also said: NYSE/NYSE MKT is currently investigating a reported technical issue. Additional information will follow as soon as possible.
The NYSE said the issue it is experiencing "is an internal technical issue and is not the result of a cyber breach." The exchange continued by saying that it chose to suspend trading on the NYSE to avoid problems arising from the technical issue.
Listed securities are continuing to trade unaffected on other market centers, the NYSE noted.
