Robert Mueller, special Counsel on the investigation into Russian interference, is examining a broad range of financial transactions involving President Trump's businesses and those linked to his associates, according to Bloomberg, citing people briefed on the matter.
His approach could trigger a response from the President who said in a New York Times interview Wednesday that any digging into matters beyond Russia would be out of bounds.
Agents are also interested in transactions involving the Bank of Cyprus, where Wilbor Ross served as vice chairman before he became the Commerce Secretary, as well as Jared Kushner and is efforts to secure financing for some of his family's real estate properties, the report said.
