Hamilton ETFs changes names for two exchange-traded funds
Hamilton Capital Partners Inc. announced name changes for two of its exchange-traded funds, effective April 30, 2026, according to a press release statement.
The Hamilton Canadian Bank Equal-Weight Index ETF will be renamed HAMILTON CHAMPIONS Canadian Bank Equal-Weight Index ETF, while maintaining its HEB ticker symbol on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The Hamilton Enhanced Mixed Asset ETF will become the Hamilton Enhanced Mixed Asset Allocation ETF, keeping its MIX ticker symbol.
The name changes are expected to be reflected on the TSX at market open on May 11, 2026. The company stated that ticker symbols TSX: HEB and TSX: MIX, along with CUSIP numbers, will remain unchanged.
Hamilton ETFs indicated that the investment objectives, investment strategies, and management of both ETFs will not be affected by the name changes. The fund prospectuses and investment details remain available through regulatory filings.
