FIS Bright Portfolios Focused Equity ETF shareholders approve reorganization
Shareholders of FIS Bright Portfolios Focused Equity ETF (NYSE: BRIF) approved a reorganization plan during a special meeting held February 19, according to a company statement. The reorganization will merge BRIF into FIS Trust, as previously approved by the fund's Board of Trustees.
The reorganization is expected to be completed on or about February 23, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. The transaction will be based on the relative net asset values of the fund's shares at the time of reorganization and is expected to qualify as a non-taxable event for shareholders.
Faith Investor Services LLC, based in Dallas, Texas, serves as investment adviser to the ETF. The reorganization was structured through an Agreement and Plan of Reorganization that required shareholder approval.
The fund's shares are distributed by Foreside Fund Services, LLC. Additional information about the reorganization was made available through proxy statements filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
