Goldman Sachs downgraded Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLS) from Neutral to Sell with a price target of $15.75 (down from $17).

The firm expects the company to face sluggish demand as core supplies categories remain in a period of secular stagnation. Goldman expects "flattish," which is near the lower end of the group.
