Verizon Communications (VZ) Declares $0.64 Quarterly Dividend; 5% Yield

Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.64 per share, or $2.56 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on February 1, 2022, to stockholders of record on January 10, 2022, with an ex-dividend date of January 7, 2022.

The annual yield on the dividend is 5 percent.

Chairman and CEO Hans Vestberg said, “Our disciplined strategy and execution continues to create short- and long-term value for our shareholders.” Verizon has approximately 4.1 billion shares of common stock outstanding. The company made approximately $7.8 billion in cash dividend payments in the last three quarters."
