U.S. Cellular (USM) Declares $5.75 Special Dividend; 15.2% Yield

U.S. Cellular Corp. (NYSE: USM) declared a special dividend of $5.75 per share.

The dividend will be payable on June 25, 2013, to stockholders of record on June 11, 2013.

The annual yield on the dividend is 15.2 percent.

The company's previously announced transaction to sell its Chicago, St. Louis, central Illinois and three other markets (the "Divestiture Transaction") to Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE: S) has closed and the company has received $480 million.
