Nextera Energy (NYSE: NEE) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.87 per share, or $3.48 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on June 15, 2016, to stockholders of record on May 31, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of May 26, 2016.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.9 percent.
