Essex Property Trust, Inc. (NYSE: ESS) declared a quarterly dividend of $1.10 per share, or $4.4 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on July 13, 2012, to stockholders of record on June 29, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of June 27, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 3 percent.
