Albemarle (NYSE: ALB) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.305 per share, or $1.22 annualized. This is a 5.2% increase from the prior dividend of $0.29.
The dividend will be payable on April 1, 2016, to stockholders of record on March 16, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of March 14, 2016.
The annual yield on the dividend is 2.2 percent.
"We are proud of our long history of consistent dividend growth and are happy to announce a dividend increase for the 22nd consecutive year," stated President and Chief Executive Officer Luke Kissam. "Our businesses are stronger than ever, and our long term cash generation potential has never been greater."
