Upexi Inc. (NASDAQ: UPXI) announced it will implement a high-yield treasury strategy aimed at enhancing returns from its Solana holdings in 2026, according to a company statement.
The Tampa-based digital asset treasury company reported its Solana holdings increased to 2,174,583 SOL as of January 5, 2026, representing a 3.2% increase from 2,106,989 SOL held as of October 31, 2025.
The company also disclosed it repurchased 416,226 shares at an average price of $1.92. Additionally, CEO Allan Marshall purchased 200,000 shares in December.
"As part of this transition, we are focused on materially increasing total yield while maintaining a prudent risk profile, and we expect to provide additional details in the coming weeks," Marshall stated.
Upexi describes itself as a digital asset treasury company focused on acquiring and holding Solana cryptocurrency, while also operating consumer product brands. The company utilizes capital issuance, staking, and discounted locked token purchases as value creation mechanisms.
The company said it does not expect the new treasury strategy implementation to disrupt its current Solana operations. Upexi currently holds over two million SOL tokens.
