Greenlane purchases $8 million of BERA tokens for treasury strategy

Greenlane Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: GNLN) purchased $8 million worth of BERA tokens between October 23 and December 3, 2025, as part of its Berachain treasury strategy, according to a company statement.

The cannabis accessories company acquired approximately 5.76 million BERA tokens at an average price of $1.39 per token. Greenlane now holds 60.17 million BERA tokens total, with 8.33 million staked on-chain while the remainder remains subject to lock-up or vesting restrictions.

The company has earned over 180,000 BERA from staking activities since launching its Berachain treasury strategy in October. As of December 3, the annualized return rate for Berachain's Proof of Liquidity staking was 30%, though this rate fluctuates based on network conditions.

Greenlane maintains approximately $32 million in cash and stablecoin reserves allocated to its Berachain treasury strategy as of December 3. These funds represent the remaining proceeds from a $50 million private investment completed in October, after deducting $8 million for BERA purchases and $3 million for legacy business operations.

"I believe that we have maintained a disciplined investment approach throughout a volatile cryptocurrency market," said Ben Isenberg, Chief Investment Officer. "We retain the vast majority of the net proceeds from our recent private investment, which puts us in a strong position to continue building out our BERA treasury."

The company plans to continue purchasing BERA tokens during the fourth quarter of 2025 and deploy funds into staking and decentralized finance activities within the Berachain ecosystem to generate additional revenue.

Greenlane transitioned from primarily selling cannabis accessories to focusing on digital asset treasury management through its Berachain strategy, which involves network staking, liquidity provisioning, and supporting blockchain infrastructure development.
