Genius Group approves $100 million AI investment strategy
Genius Group Limited (NYSE American: GNS) announced its board approved an AI treasury strategy that includes plans to invest up to $100 million in an AGI Infinity Portfolio, according to a company statement.
The Singapore-based education company said the portfolio will provide exposure to pre-IPO investments in SpaceX, OpenAI, Anthropic, Figure AI, Replit, Anduril and Databricks. The company targets growing the portfolio to $800 million within $2 billion in total assets by 2031.
Genius Group reported current total assets of $137 million and a market capitalization of approximately $42 million as of May 26, 2026. The company said it plans to fund the treasury growth through operational cash flow, its existing $1.2 billion at-the-market facility, and other capital sources.
The AI treasury strategy will complement the company's existing Bitcoin treasury. Under the plan, the AGI Infinity Portfolio would represent up to 40% of total assets, with operational businesses and Bitcoin holdings comprising the remaining 60%.
CEO Roger James Hamilton stated the company's mission is to "prepare humanity for a post-Singularity future" and that the dual treasury strategy gives shareholders exposure to AI and blockchain technology trends.
The company cited KPMG Venture Pulse data showing global venture capital investment reached $331 billion in the first quarter of 2026, with AI-focused companies attracting the majority of the ten largest funding rounds.
Genius Group plans to deploy approximately $20 million across funds providing immediate pre-IPO exposure, with the remaining $80 million earmarked for deployment across what it describes as the five-layer AI stack including power, compute, hyperscalers, frontier models and robotics.
The company scheduled an investor presentation webcast for June 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time to discuss the treasury strategy details.
