Binance founder Zhao sentenced to four months in prison
Invesitng.com -- Former Binance chief executive Changpeng Zhao was sentenced on Tuesday to four months in prison and ordered to pay $150 million fine after pleading guilty to violating U.S. money-laundering laws.
The four-month sentencing imposed was far less than prosecutors request for Zhao serve a three-year term.
The former Binance CEO stepped down from Binance after pleading guilty in a settlement plea deal with the U.S. Department of Justice in November.
