Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it affirmed its 'BB+' corporate credit rating on IHS (NYSE: IHS). The outlook is stable.
At the same time, we placed our 'BB+' rating on the company's senior unsecured instruments on CreditWatch with negative implications. Our '3' recovery rating remains unchanged. We will resolve the CreditWatch listing when more information about the company's capital structure, including the structure of the legal entities and guarantors, becomes available.
The stable outlook reflects our view that IHS's good market positions and recurring revenue base are likely to result in consistent operating performance over the next 12 months.
