Moody's Investors Service commented that the potential combination of Pfizer Inc. and Allergan Plc would have credit positive implications for both companies. The companies have confirmed friendly discussions, but no deal has been reached and there is currently no impact to the ratings of either company. Pfizer is rated A1 with a stable outlook and Allergan's rated subsidiaries, including Allergan, Inc., are rated Baa3 with a stable outlook.
