zSpace Inc. (NASDAQ: ZSPC) announced the release of three applications designed to train learners and workers for industrial robotics careers. The company released Industrial Robotics Training, Industrial Robotics Maintenance, and Industrial Robotics Operations applications for use in classrooms and workforce development programs.

The Industrial Robotics Training application introduces users to foundational systems including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, control, and vision technologies. Students work through modules covering core principles and structural components in scenarios such as welding, assembly, and material handling.

Industrial Robotics Maintenance provides 3D simulations that replicate maintenance, assembly, and adjustment procedures used in manufacturing. The application allows students to practice diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial robots through interactive scenarios.

Industrial Robotics Operations focuses on operation and programming of robotic welding and spray painting systems. The application covers path control, motion planning, safety protocols, and process programming in a virtual environment that mirrors industrial workstations.

"As industrial robotics become increasingly important, workforce training must keep pace with this dynamic environment," said Paul Kellenberger, CEO of zSpace. "These new applications give learners the opportunity to gain confidence and practical experience before they step into a real-world setting."

The applications operate on zSpace's headset-free AR/VR laptop solutions. The laptops use built-in head tracking to adjust 3D perspective in real time and include a stylus that allows users to manipulate virtual robotic components. Users can perform tasks such as disassembling robotic arms and replacing parts in the Maintenance application or practicing task sequencing in Operations.

zSpace serves K-12 STEM, K-12 career and technical education, post-secondary career and technical education, and workforce development programs. The company reports serving over 3,500 school districts, technical centers, community colleges, and universities.
