Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA) introduced its CV70 CXP machine vision camera at Automate 2026 in Chicago, the company announced in a press release.

The CV70 CXP is described as a high-speed, high-resolution camera designed for applications including small parts inspection, electric vehicle battery assembly, and semiconductor inspection. The camera is paired with Zebra's Aurora software, frame grabbers, and vision controllers to form a complete machine vision system from a single vendor.

Zebra is also showcasing its 4Sight XV7 vision controller and Rapixo CXP Pro Octo frame grabber at the event, along with demonstrations of machine vision hardware and software featuring 3D inspection, AI-based anomaly detection, and AI-based optical character recognition. Additional displays include an automated print-and-apply process using machine vision and RFID technology, and an automated factory staging setup using RFID for real-time tracking.

Photoneo, which Zebra acquired and is now part of the company, is demonstrating vision-guided robotics applications including bin picking, box depalletizing, and 3D volume measurement at the event.

Zebra cited its own Manufacturing Vision Study, which found that 92% of manufacturing leaders identify digital transformation as a strategic priority, and that 98% of those surveyed plan to use machine vision by 2029.

Charlie Long, Vice President and General Manager of Machine Vision at Zebra Technologies, is scheduled to lead a speaking session titled "The Augmented Operator: Driving Productivity with Machine Vision and Mobile Intelligence" on June 22 at the Automate Innovation Stage.

Zebra's booth is located at #1825 at McCormick Place in Chicago, with the event running June 22–25.
