Xponential Fitness finalizes $17 million FTC settlement

Xponential Fitness, Inc. (NYSE: XPOF) has finalized a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission to resolve allegations related to the company's past franchising disclosure practices, according to a company statement.
The fitness franchisor will pay $17 million to the FTC for franchisee redress over a 12-month period. The settlement contains no admission of wrongdoing by Xponential and has been submitted to the court for approval.
The company operates boutique health and wellness franchise brands including Club Pilates, StretchLab, YogaSix, Pure Barre, and BFT. Xponential has franchise agreements in 49 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, and 28 additional countries.
The settlement resolves a previously disclosed matter involving the FTC's allegations about the company's franchising disclosure practices. The resolution allows the company to focus on operations under new management, according to the statement.
